Blog Hiatus

I'm going on a little blog hiatus because my computer with all my pictures is dead. I'm trying to get it charged, but it looks like I'm going to be shopping for a new computer this weekend. The pictures I have are from my phone, but I would prefer to use my camera. Hopefully I'll be back blogging very soon.

Room Makeover Update

I wanted to give a quick update on our guest room makeover. The Real Deal people have been working over at the house a few days this week. We've picked out the comforter and they've started painting the walls. I told them I liked white, green, and blue. The comforter has patchwork flowers and the walls are going to be mint green. I also got a cute lamp and candle stick this week! Can't wait to see the final product!

Clemson game and Weekend Recap

My favorite time of year is quickly approaching...Fall! I love football, cooler weather, the trees changing colors, pumpkin patches and so much more! This weekend was the first Clemson football game of the year! The cooler weather has definitely not hit Clemson yet. It was so hot! Tailgating was fun under the tent, but the game was unbearable. I stayed under the fans for a while. Thankfully, we get some shade during the 2nd half. Clemson started off with a win for the year! Hopefully we'll have a winning and a much cooler season!

We spent Friday night watching the Midnight Flight race. My dad and Andrew ran the race. They both did a great job! I would love to be able to run a race one day. Brent went off on a boy's weekend so I was here for the weekend. Unfortunately, I woke up Sunday morning sick. Thankfully, we were off for Labor Day, so I've been able to rest. The good thing about being sick is I've caught up on all my TV shows. Thank goodness for DVR! It's been a great weekend!

Brent's Birthday Week

We celebrated Brent's 26th birthday all week! On Tuesday night, I made Brent's favorite desserts. I made his favorite chocolate chip cookies and cupcakes with chocolate chip cookie dough icing. Yum!

On Brent's birthday, we celebrated at his parent's house by eating lasagna, cake, and opening gifts. We had a great time together! It was Brent's first birthday with Jackson! Brent got so many great presents! He got a TV and ipod player to take tailgating and lots of fishing stuff. Hopefully he'll catch something big this weekend in Charleston. He also got lots of gift cards from Lowe's and Itunes. We celebrated Thursday night in Clemson with my family. I tried the new yogurt place, Blueberry Frog. It was really good!
